Panasonic Releases Two New SDHC Memory Cards

Panasonic has announced the introduction of two new SD High Capacity memory cards, said to be perfect for recording in high definition. The cards, which come in 6GB and 12GB storage capacities are capable of recording 90 minutes and 180 minutes of 1920 x 1080 full HD content respectively. These times can be increased depending on the HD mode chosen. Panasonic says the cards have been produced in response to the growing SD card-based HD camcorders on the market, however the cards can obviously also be used for standard definition recording. Named, rather catchily, the RP-SDM06G (6GB) and the RP-SDM12G (12GB) SDHC Memory Cards, they incorporate a number of user-friendly features such as memo-labels so you can write on the front of the card.
